Sneak Peak: Sims.....3!

Ben Bell, an Executive producer at EA has sent out an email to many fansite owners with information on the Sims 3. We are very excited to share this information with you.
The first thing I want to mention is The Sims 3 website. A link was sent to this site in the email. I checked it out and got a screen that is similar to the image you will notice to the left of this article. It reads: The Sims 3, more information to come March 19th. So hopefully if you check the website on March 19th you will find some information.
As for what we have now, Ben has informed us of some very interesting things. To start off with, the Sims 3 team has been observing from around the corner and they to listen to simmers' suggestions. The advertising of the Sims 3 will be much like the great advertising for Freetime. Magazine Articles, websites, and interviews will all be brought to you with new information on the game.
It sounds as if one of the things the team is most excited about is the sims' limitations. Well really more of the lack of limitations. In the Sims 3, your sims can just walk to the neighbors home or drive downtown. This makes us ask whether our sims get cars right away, or if we must wait for an expansion pack to bring them back. I don't know about you, but I'm hoping to spend as little money possible buying EP's for things we got in The Sims 2. But really, this is a pretty cool  thing, and no loading screen!
More information given to us by Ben was about CAS. There will be a lot of freedom when creating sims now! A new thing being introduced is traits, which allow simmers to decide our sims personalities. There will be many traits! Ben relates these traits to "placing these unique personalities into your very own petri-dish". Perhaps these traits will be a mix of aspiration, turn ons, and personality.
And finally, Ben discussed the customizable appearance of everything in the game. Furniture, walls, floors, clothes, hair. This new things is easy and fast! And with no need for special tools, this will be a lot easier on everyone! Of course this means you're going to need to share your new creations!
So Ben has given us a lot to think over, and March 19th, hopefully we'll know even more. And of course, Ben signs his email, Ben Bell. Thanks Ben.
